Careroo App

This was an app project for a charity called Derby Carrers association who wanted a social media app for connecting carers and patients. The app could be used for sharing news publicly through a news feed, and asking and answering questions through a forum area. The app would have a points based system for those who accumulate upvotes on posts; these points would be rewarded with discount vouchers and event passes.

As the app is built around the relationship between carers and those being cared for, I based the logo design around a kangaroo who holds a joey in its pouch until it is ready. The logo shows a kangaroo with a heart symbol in place of the pouch.

I made designs in illustrator and created a full working concept in Adobe XD in order to build to the clients specifications, this working prototype could also then be used by the developers to accuratly put the app together.
